The Towers of London

When people refer to the Tower of London, they mean this building:

But there are many towers in London. Here are some of the ones we saw.

Within the Tower of London, there are 20 towers. The crown jewels are in this one. 

This stained glass window is in another one of the towers.

This picture shows The Shard in the background, which is another type of tower.

Near the Tower of London is the Tower Bridge. It has two towers, which you can walk between and look down at the traffic and river.

Big Ben is in a tower. He is currently scaffolded.

The Parliament (Westminster Palace) has another tower.

Westminster Abbey has two towers. There was a ceremony in the Abbey, after which judges processed in full regalia from the Abbey to the Palace.
